Empire Bakery Equipment prides itself on consistently offering new technology in the baking industry and food industry. This innovation enables bakeries and restaurants to grow and become more successful. The latest piece of equipment Empire carries is the Roboqbo food processing machine.  The Roboqbo is a complete and versatile machine that cooks, cools, concentrates, kneads, refines, cuts, mixes, homogenizes and pulverizes all types of food. This is such a valuable piece of technology as it not only saves you a ton of time, but it replaces several traditional pieces of equipment by reducing all production processes to just one cycle. It allows you to control all process parameters, store recipes and clean automatically. The best part? All of your production can be completed in a fraction of the time and more consistently due to the machines cooking under vacuum.

A few weeks ago, Empire hosted one of Roboqbo’s food scientists, Tommaso Pardo, at their 1,200 square foot test baking facility for three days of Roboqbo demonstrations for prospective customers from all over the country. Customers were able to come with their own recipes and ingredients and see how the Roboqbo could work for them. The demonstrations started with a simple chocolate rum ganache. A process that can usually take up to 20 minutes, not counting the cooling time, the Roboqbo was able to create a perfect ganache in just 6 minutes. With onlookers impressed, this demo was just a tip of the iceberg as the Roboqbo is capable of so much more. Customers attending the demonstration then put Chef Tommaso to the test as tested their own recipes on the Roboqbo and see if it could potentially be a machine that saved their business time while increasing production.

Qbo4-15Customers tested fruit jams and pastry creams which took the Roboqbo only 10 minutes, fruit jellies which took the machine only 15 minutes, mayonnaise that took only 5 minutes, and a complex bechamel sauce that took a mere 15 minutes. Needless to say, the customers were impressed with what the Roboqbo could handle--and in a fraction of the time traditional methods take. The time came for lunch, and when you have a Roboqo on site, lunch is a breeze. Chef Tommaso ran the Roboqbo through its extremely thorough self-cleaning procedure and prepared to make demonstration-goers a saffron risotto. A recipe that usually takes about an hour to prepare and cook only took the Roboqbo 15 minutes to make; everyone was able to enjoy a beautifully bright, silky and rich risotto.

Demonstrations continued flawlessly as the Roboqbo took everything thrown its way and handled it perfectly. The looks on the faces of those attending the demonstration said it all. This machine truly is amazing and will change the future of food equipment forever.

Sounds too good to be true right? Mad that you missed the opportunity to witness such an impressive piece of equipment? No worries, Empire plans to host another demonstration in the coming months.
